A wonderful experience with my son Mattia.
Non-competitive event very well organized in stunning locations with typical American hospitality ... all was great.
From Los Angeles, Santa Barbara more exactly, to San Francisco and back, about 1600 km, through California coast and hill roads, a unique show through all day. Paths really beautiful and also the stops were well designed and very characteristic, not to mention the hotels and dinners, both high level.
In this wonderful event, we used a 1500 MG TF, 1954, we enjoyed it a lot and the car behaved well except for a "generator" problem, as you can see in the video. At the entrance in San Francisco in fact, right near the GoldenGate Bridge we stopped, luckily the emergency assistance were near us, they quickly put us back on track to finish our trip. There was always a TV crew with, often broadcasting us live on an American interest channels (with 40 million subscribers), it was like being in a movie, a great and special experience.
At the end of the Tribute, we stayed one more day to attend the Competition of Elegance in Santa Barbara, one of the most popular in America, it was worth it, very interesting and engaging.
On the whole, it was a great experience…absolutely to be repeated.
